How to take screenshots on Mac

Many of you, accustomed to Windows, want to take a screenshot of the screen and look on the keyboard for the happy key that in Windows does exist and in Mac there is no print screen, so then we are going to teach you how to take screenshots on Mac.

1 Option: SHIFT + COMMAND + 3

By typing these three keys at the same time, what we will do is create a screenshot of the screen that will be automatically saved on the desktop of our computer with the name Image 1.png. If you just want to copy the capture to paste it where you want and you don't want the file to be created on the desktop, look at option 3.

2 Option: SHIFT + COMMAND + 4: With this option a capture will be created but only of the part that we select with the cursor creating a rectangle after pressing the three keys, just as before a file will be created on our desktop with the Image 1.png file. If after pressing these three keys we press the space bar, what it will do is take a screenshot but only of the window we select, it will also be saved on the desktop.

Option 3: SHIFT + COMMAND + 3 + CONTROL Exactly the same as the first case but instead of creating the file on the desktop, it is saved directly and you just have to paste (COMMAND + V) where you want to insert the capture.

Hopefully these tricks are useful to you.

You press "control" together for any of the options and it does the capture but you don't have a new file, and you can paste with "command + V".
