Crab, the virtual assistant for iOS, offers us the possibility of multitasking without using our hands. One of them on the timer countdown, perfect for when we have a pending task that we must complete or simply when we have a very limited time for any aspect. Today we teach you how to use Siri countdown on iPad and iPhone.
3, 2, 1 ... Siri
The lasagna that you have put in the oven, the eggs that are being cooked, the new chapter of your favorite series, the test of an online course, a job that you should have done already or that bus that leaves at the exact time. There are many situations for which the siri timer, and even more so considering its ease and speed since you can activate it to your liking through voice commands.
The first thing to do is to hold down the «Home» button so that Crab be activated. Once Siri is at our disposal, we must communicate our wishes through the following voice commands:
- "Start timer for 25 minutes." This will start a countdown of as many minutes as we have asked Crab.
- "Stop counter". This will pause the counter that we have active at that moment.
- "Resume timer"
- "Cancel timer". With this command the countdown to that moment ends, even if it has not finished yet.
- "Delete all timers" will delete all the counters that we have in the "Clock".
When the countdown expires, an alarm will sound alerting you that the time is up. Within the «Clock» application, in the «Timer» tab, you will be able to consult all the timers that you have used since in this aspect, Crab acts as an interface to the iOS Clock.
