iPhone 7 would be 35% faster than iPhone 6 according to a supposed Geekbench

The news about the iPhone 7 never ceases to surprise us. We have the first technical data of operation iPhone 7. Apparently, someone who has the new Apple phone in their possession has made a Benchmark of the terminal. In a recent article we saw the improvement of A10 chip compared to its predecessor, which has CPU at 2,4 GHz speeds, when this same parameter in the iPhone 6s Plus reaches 1,84 GHz.

The App Store offers us the application of Geekbench free of charge for IOS, which you can download at App Store. This App, already in the third edition, does not offer, among many parameters, information about the power of the processor and compares the results obtained with other Apple computers that use IOS.

The results obtained for iPhone 7 give a score of 3379, running a single processor and 5495 at full performance with two processors. These results do not mean much, if we do not compare it with other equipment: an iPhone 5s would give a score of 1400 for a single processor and 2525 for both. The iPhone 6 scores 1613 and 2886. and the iPhone 6s 2.490 and 4.332. If the A10 chip score is confirmed, the iPhone 7 would even outperform the iPad Pro, with 3224 and 5466 for one and two processors respectively, although in this case it would be very close.

If the power that the A10 Chip would deliver is confirmed, we are facing a terminal that surpasses many mid-range computers. Even so, theory is one thing and practice is another, for real purposes it surely does not exceed the management capacity of a computer, but It is appreciated the efforts of the engineers to have an iPhone or iPad that works almost like the first day despite having been on the market for more than 3 years and offering not inconsiderable performance compared to equipment recently released on the market.

There are just a few hours left for Keynote, where our unknowns will be revealed to us.
