In addition to releasing software updates iOS 9.1, OS X El Capitan 10.11.1 and watchOS 2.0.1, Apple today also released a minor iTunes update to Mac y Windows. The new iTunes 12.3.1 does not introduce new features, simply improves stability and overall performance of your Mac, according to the release notes that accompany the download.
You can update your copy of iTunes through the tab Updates on the Mac App Store or selecting 'Search for updates' in the iTunes menu. A standalone iTunes installer is available for Mac and Windows from the official website.
The other software that Apple launched today:
- iOS 9.1 - Live Photos now detects when you raise or lower your iPhone, more than 150 new emojis with full support for Unicode 7.0 and 8.0, a lot of bug fixes and general stability improvements.
- OS X El Capitan 10.11.1 - Now they come with more than 150 Emoji characters newer, better compatibility with Microsoft Office 2016, improved installation reliability when upgrading to El Capitan, increased reliability for VoiceOver, and a ton of other fixes.
