iTunes is updated by removing all traces of the App Store

We have been talking about the possible disintegration of iTunes in the form of different applications. It seems that Apple has just taken the first step but not as many users would have wanted, since the Cupertino-based company has updated the ITunes application but eliminating any trace of the App Store. In this way, we will not be able to buy applications directly from our MAC, but we will always be forced to do them from our iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, as if we want to install them again.

The elimination of the App Store section has not come from the hand of an independent application that allows us to install and download applications. Of course, if we have a problem with our device we will have to continue using iTunes to restore our device as up to now, but we will not be able to take advantage of it to install the applications that we have downloaded on our Mac.

Apple took the first step in this regard with iOS 9. Since its launch, Apple has not allowed us to download the applications that we had installed on our iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to our computer through iTunes to be able to restore all the applications together when we restore our device from scratch.

This new version also allows us to make a backup copy of our device, an option that according to Apple's movements may also end up disappearing and that the company forces us to make a copy of the most basic things in iCloud, something that surely will not please many people unless once and for all, Apple offer us a storage capacity in iCloud according to the storage of our device.

But not only has the App Store disappeared, but iBooks has also disappeared completely, forcing users to use the application available in the iOS ecosystem. If you want to re-download a game or book that you had previously downloaded, you must go to the application where it is located, the App Store or iBooks and perform a search by name. Currently it is the only way that Apple allows us to install applications or download books, without using third-party applications.

all the security I had with my backups is going to shit. Will I have to pay to save the backups in iCloud? is that what they want? Well, I'm not going to do it.

Due to the new update, a question has arisen: Since now there is no longer the option to manage apps from iTunes, when I make a backup, are the apps that I have on my iphone and their respective data copied? For example: WhatsApp, it is an app where I have a lot of information and I have not been able to make a copy in iCloud since it weighs more than 7 GB due to the amount of data I have. So if I restore my iPhone from the factory, and I had previously made a backup on my PC. With the new update, that copy still includes all my apps? Or no longer? That is, they are restored as they were before with all the information they contained ???

Apple goes backwards like crabs. At this rate, no matter how good the applications for iPhone and iPad are, it will not be worth buying one if it is going to be easier on Android. What do I do with the ones I had and were not loaded on the iPhone? Come on, a mess.
