IBM will bring Swift to the cloud

Starting a business from scratch has never been easy. Apple in its beginnings had more than one dispute with Microsoft over the use of the graphical interface that the two supposedly had invented. Years later, Jobs requested Microsoft's help to try to relaunch Apple after his return to the campaign, financial aid that Bill Gates satisfied without problems. Samsung is another example company rival that finally always ends up working manufacturing the different elements that make up the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

IBM was another of the bitter enemies of the firm Apple in the past. A couple of years ago they signed an alliance to collaborate on different projects that have produced specific applications for the professional field and not intended for the general public. The latest news related to this collaboration is that the IBM firm will use the programming language of the Cupertino-based company, allowing it to work directly from the cloud. Thus Apple wants to simplify the end-to-end application development process and that will allow to develop native applications in Swift. According to IBM, making use of its servers will eliminate front-end and back-end development barriers.

IBM will offer three ways to developers to use Swift in the cloud: Experiments in the Swift Sandbox, Develop and Deploy, and Share Swift Resources. In addition, thanks to Swift Server, IBM will allow developers to have a simpler working tool and turn to create end-to-end applications. At the moment the collaboration between the two companies is offering very good results for both parties, and it is to be assumed that this collaboration will continue in operation as long as both firms obtain benefits from the relationship.
