Longer battery but same autonomy

And the first thing that has caught the attention of technicians is the somewhat larger size of the battery, compared to the Series 5, although Apple announces the same capacity of 18 hours. According to iFixit, the 6mm Apple Watch Series 44 battery has a capacity of 1,17 Wh, 3,5% more than series 5. The 6mm Apple Watch Series 40 features an 8,5% larger battery.
It is logical that although the battery is somewhat larger than the previous series, Apple continues to say that the autonomy of the device is still 18 hours. This is because the new S6 processor should consume more power, and the new LED rear sensors of the oximeter.
It is also noteworthy that the haptic engine of the new model is larger than that of the previous series. In terms of external measures, the Apple Watch has slimmed down a bit. The thickness of the series 6 is 10,4 mm., Slightly less than 10,74 mm. series 5.
