A few days ago Apple renewed the interior of the iMac with new processors, a renovation that probably be the last to receive this model, at least if we pay attention to the large number of rumors that in recent months point to an aesthetic renovation of this model, a renovation that has not finally taken place.
If we take into account this latest renovation, most likely Apple wants to wait for the official launch of ARM processors to renew the veteran iMac design. While that date arrives, today we show you a new concept of iMac that stands out for include a wireless charging base in the bracket.
In this way, Apple would give a utility to the space reserved at the bottom of the iMac, a space that is generally reserved for placing the keyboard when we are not using it, a functionality that would disappear and would force us to find another location for the keyboard.
The more free space we have on our desk, the better the better and if Apple integrates a charging base for the iPhone in the iMac it would be great, however, it is highly unlikely that it will eventually happen. Regarding the design of the iMac, as we can see, this is very similar to the other concepts that we have published previously, a design with edges reduced to the maximum.
According to Daniel Bautista, author of this concept, this new iMac would integrate the facial recognition system of Apple Face ID, of which already some traces have been found in the next version of Apple's operating system for laptops and desktops: Big Sur.
IMac aesthetic makeover
As I discussed above, most likely Apple new design reserved for release alongside new ARM processors, a renewal that will begin this year in some computers as reported by Apple during WWDC and will last for 2 years.
