iMedia Player offers us quick access to YouTube from the menu bar

If you are a regular user of YouTube, it is likely that your website is one of the most visited and it will surely have a prominent place among your favorites. But if you don't want to depend on your browser at all times to play your list of favorite videos or search for a specific video, you can make use of the iMedia Player application, a YouTube player that integrates into the top bar of macOS.

Thanks to iMedia Player, regardless of the desktop where we are, we can access the YouTube search engine, which is really the YouTube web page integrated into a window. One of the advantages it offers us with respect to the traditional web version is that it prevents videos that show ads before and during their reproduction, something very welcome according to the time we are consulting YouTube.

Thanks to iMedia Player, we can play the videos we are looking for in a floating window, ideal for when our browser is busy but we want to enjoy the latest video from our favorite YouTuber, from the channel that Actualidad iPhone and Soy de Mac to which you should be subscribed, or any other video regardless of its theme while we continue browsing. This application is responsible for skipping the video ads that are displayed before and during the playback of the videos, but it does not prevent the ad banners from being displayed, much less a stone.

iMedia Player also allows us to record our videos through the webcam integrated into our Mac, if necessary, and incidentally upload it to YouTube. iMedia Player has a usual price in the Mac App Store of 2,99 euros, although for a few days we can download it completely free through the link that I leave at the end of this article.
