iMovie is updated to version 10.1.9 with bug fixes

The iMovie for Mac application has just received a new version with several improvements. This popular video editing software reaches version 10.1.9 and it adds new compatibility options with resolutions and previews for the iPhone X or newer iPad models plus other enhancements.

Added bug fixes and major stability improvements for this veteran and simple Apple video editing app. This new version also adds fixes with the social network Facebook and failures in the loginsas well as adding the fix to the problem where HEVC video clips and HEIF photos could be displayed in black in the viewfinder.

In short, a series of improvements that make this application a little more stable and above all, some of the main problems detected in the previous version are corrected. Then we leave the other improvements implemented in this new version:

  • Resolves an issue that caused the import date to be used as the capture date when importing from some SD cards or AVCHD cameras
  • Fixes a playback issue with Sound Designer 2 files
  • Fixes an issue that caused iMovie to crash when exiting the app
  • Resolves an issue that could cause opacity controls to disappear when using iMovie in German or Polish
  • Fixes an issue that could prevent certain iMovie projects from being sent to Final Cut Pro
  • Fixes an issue that could slow the import of content from SD cards on an iMac Pro
