One of the great assets of Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for the tremendous success of your devices, especially in recent years, it is your cloud storage service or iCloud that allows the total synchronization of all our data and contents between the different iOS and OS X products of the brand, however, the development of new features and functions would have been delayed, if not paralyzed, due to internal organization problems.
ICloud development suffers from delays
For you Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), you are having serious problems growing your cloud storage service iCloud to the point that some new features and functions would have been frozen in development due to internal organization problems.
At least that is what emerges from an analysis of the company's strategy and the comments contributed by a dozen former employees of Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), that has been news in the newspaper The Information. According to this information, the development team of iCloud planned the launch of iCloud Photo Library along with the first version of iOS 8 on September 17th however, Structuring and organization problems would have led to the current lack of iCloud updates.
Thus, and given the impossibility of launching iCloud Photo Library in time, the Cupertino company opted for this beta and optional version of this new function that allowed us to make use of it if we so desired.
ICloud must also be integrated with the new app Photos for Mac that will replace both iPhoto as Aperture but there is no planned release date for this new application, nor is it known if its integration with iCloud it will arrive on time.
So far there have been no statements in this regard by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), But these dozen testimonials, if true, show that there are indeed internal problems that hinder the implementation of new services, features and functions and, therefore, damage the logical evolution of the company.
