It seems that before having the first MacBook Pro with a 16-inch OLED screen, Apple would launch the iPad Pro with this type of panel. As explained in MacRumors from the well-known DigiTimes media it is being said that the iPad Pro and 16-inch MacBook Pros with this type of panel could be released in 2022.
As explained in the report, the safest thing is that the first in adopt this type of screen is the 10,9-inch iPad and possibly the Air range. These first iPads may arrive later this year or early next year.
The Macbook Pro with OLED for 2022
It is still just another rumor but everything indicates that these panels will be implemented on Macs starting next year on 16 or even 17-inch teams. MacBooks have a Retina display that is really good but has nothing to do with an OLED.
The mini-LED screens are also being part of the rumors to change the screens of both the iPad and the Mac and according to the DigiTimes medium both types of screen could share the stage during the next epoch. We will see what happens in the end.
Apple, as we all know, implemented the first OLED screen in its devices in the Apple Watch and right now the iPhone also carry it.
