The European tour of the CEO of Apple Tm Cook, continues and this time he arrived in Ireland after being in Italy and the Netherlands. In this case, the CEO took his chest out of what Steve Jobs created in his day in Ireland, with Cork as one of Apple's main projects in Europe.
Undoubtedly the investment of 220 million euros in Cork is one of the proofs that the Cupertino boys are betting on this country despite the fact that lately they are not having a simple relationship after the issue of "alleged tax evasion", but in any case the relationship with the country's authorities is good, very good.
Own Leo Varakdar, Irish Prime Minister welcomed Cook and tweeted the meeting in the capital:
Good meeting with @tim_cook of @Apple this evening at@merrionstreet. He's on to Cork next to open an extension to the facility there pic.twitter.com/XRBTHZNC2c

Cook's presence suggests that they will soon announce the expansion of their Hollyhill campus, so this new building will add another 1.400 jobs that surely the authorities of the country appreciate. Apple has the most important logistics center in Europe in Cork and many of the products that arrive in Spain or even the possible repairs of damaged equipment go through the country. The country and the company nurture each other and therefore the relationship is always cordial between them. Cook's visit is not the first and not the last he will make in Ireland.
