After these days of emotions and new products from the Apple company, the new iTunes 12 arrives in beta form for OS X Yosemite. This new version is available for download if you are in the beta program for the next version of the Mac operating system.
Apple keeps releasing new updates and versions that improve the performance of its iTunes software quite frequently, but this time just like iTunes version 11.4 for OS X Mavericks Apple adds the necessary enhancements for GM users to iOS 8 have no compatibility issues and can install beta prior to the official version from OS X Yosemite 10.10.
This new version of iTunes 12 adds these improvements in compatibility and we will not see any more changes in it. We assume that later when Apple releases the official version of iOS this version of iTunes already will have no compatibility problems with none of the OS X that we have today available on our Mac.
To update this version of iTunes you can do it from the Mac App Store itself (always from the beta version of OS X Yosemite) if it did not skip automatically or by entering the de menu > Software update and it will take us directly to the new version available.
