I recently had the pleasure of digitally editing and publishing two books in the iBookStore - they are pending approval - and this has helped me to learn about the publishing process in the iTunes Store.
Leaving aside the requirements that are achieved in a while speaking in English with the IRS, the most interesting for us is the iTunes Producer, which is nothing other than the program that Apple has for us to send products to the iTunes Store.
With iTunes Producer we can prepare a book or music to send by filling in all the metadata, the sale price, the collaborations and something else. At the end of the whole Apple validates the file and gives its OK if everything is fine, making the process very simple and intuitive.
You can download the software from iTunes Connect, as long as you have access.
Hello, sorry I have done all the steps of itunes connect, of paid books. But I can't see any step in which I am given the option of being able to download the itunes producer. Also I do not receive any email from apple. What I can do? I want to publish my book… but I can't because I don't have that program. Thanks.
I would like to know how long it takes to get the approval from Apple once the book has been successfully submitted to the iTunes Store.
