They also have their own application totally free and compatible with iOS and Android to improve sound quality, the Jaybird App. This app can be configured to suit the user and really offers a better user experience in terms of audio, it is highly recommended to install it. The Jaybird app lets you discover new music and podcasts for when you exercise, and customize the equalizer settings on your Jaybird headphones.

Design and main specifications

If we focus on the design of these headphones we can see that it is a much improved version over the previous one. It is not that it has changes, it is that they are really different headphones from the Jaybird Run launched a couple of years ago so we can say that we are facing a really new version. In this model we find the two versions of color Black Flash and Storm Gray, in our case we have the second one, which is with a gray box and the inside of the headset is blue.

The design of the rubber bands to attach the headphones to all types of ears is really good and they hold firmly. We also have several measures available to choose the one that best suits us. The color combination is really successful and the overall design is very good, they don't fall off while we exercise, whether it's running or the like. In this case also and as we said at the beginning in this new version of the Jaybird have added IPX7 protection, so they are now resistant to sweat, rain and adverse conditions.

On the other hand when we talk about autonomy we find another of the interesting novelties of these Jaybird Run XT and that is that for 5 minutes of fast charging we have a whole hour of playback. Without a doubt this is another of the important novelties of these headphones. In normal charges we have a rechargeable battery of 4 hours plus 8 hours of charge that are added in the small transport box.

Sound quality

In this we can say that the sound quality is really good, even above some competitive models. We are not facing cheap true wireless headphones compared to other brands or even Apple's AirPods, but the sound quality is really good and outnumber many. Something to keep in mind is that when receiving a call these headphones only emit sound through the right unit and this is the case in all Jaybird Run XT models, as soon as we go to the audio after answering the call our music will sound through the two headphones no problem.
