JBL, one of the most recognized manufacturers of audio accessories and devices in the world, has recently presented your Reflect Aware C headphones, which have characteristics such as noise cancellation and of course the direct USB-C connection that will allow us to connect them directly to our 12 ″ MacBook without the need for an adapter.
These headphones generate the audio and charge through the same USB-C socket, as does the mentioned 12-inch MacBook or one of the different devices that are already for sale on the market such as the recently introduced smartphone HTC 10. Furthermore, its design is designed to be resistant to sweat and very ergonomic on the ear, so we will prevent it from falling while we exercise. One of the characteristics that has been highlighted the most is their ability to cancel noise, that is, it discriminates strange sounds coming from outside so that by adjusting this parameter we can hear more or less noise coming from our environment, it even has a remote control with an integrated microphone to answer phone calls and of course music playback.
Although the USB-C socket has yet to take off, even within Apple's product range, these headphones are a signature step for companies that bet beyond the classic 3,5mm mini jack socket, a subject very controversial last year. Although their main market will be to focus on smartphone users, they are a first approach equally for computers like the MacBook that are migrating connections to USB-C and they do not have standard headphone output.
For now, JBL has closed in on the band to confirm the availability of these new headphones, although it remains to be seen if the company will dare with a version equipped with a lightning connector if in the end the rumors that the next iPhone will not have a connector are confirmed. 3,5 mm.
