Jesse Plemons to star in Killers of the Flower Moon

Although it is still in pre-production and does not even have an approximate release date, there is no doubt that Killers of the Flower Moon is probably the film that has created the most excitement since it was known that Martin Scorsese was going to be its director and DiCaprio its main protagonist. However, there has been a major change in the cast. The main protagonist will now be Jesse Plemons.

Last year, news broke that the Killers of the Flower Moon script had undergone a review and it was decided to sell the project to Apple for its Apple TV +. The original idea was for Leonardo DiCaprio to bring the movie's hero to life. Nevertheless, the actor pushed for his role to change from Tom White to that of Ernest Buckhart, nephew of the story's antagonist, who will be played by Robert De Niro.

Now it has been known that Jesse Plemons, known for his roles in "Friday Night Lights" and "Breaking Bad," will join the cast. He will work under Martin Scorsese. With whom he has previously worked on the exceptional Netflix's "The Irishman." Now in Killers of the Flower Moon, Plemons plays Tom White. He will be the lead FBI agent investigating a series of murders within the Osage Nation in the 1920s in Oklahoma. Filming is expected to begin in May and will also feature actress Lily Gladstone who will play the role of Burkhart's wife, Mollie.

We will be attentive to see if there is any more news in this film. That before filming has started, he's already giving a lot to talk about. It will surely be a very important value for Apple TV +. Something you need and a lot seeing how things are.
