And it is that, as they have reported in a new press release, John Giannandrea has been officially appointed as the Senior Vice President of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Strategy Apple, and his job is similar to the position he held at Google for about eight years, which consists of supervising everything related to the brand's artificial intelligence, which, as we mentioned, also includes services such as Siri or the Core ML.
However, the most curious thing about all this has been the way Giannandrea has had of climbing positions within Apple, since started working just over 8 months ago, and in this short time he has already passed through three different positions, to finally remain as part of the executive team of the firm, which also gives us certain clues about the future of the brand, because if they are investing so much in AI it is because they know what the future is, and they want to overcome other rivals.
