Rendering MacBook Air

Ming-Chi Kuo it does not rest even in the month of August. The famous Apple environment analyst has once again hit the keys on his computer, and this time it is the turn of the next generation of MacBooks Air that will be released next year.

He says they will adopt the new exterior design of the MacBook Pro of 14 and 16 inches that we will see this fall, and also the same range of colors. He has also talked about the screen, and release dates.

The Korean analyst of the Apple environment yesterday sent a new press release to the shareholders of the company where he explains some characteristics of the new range of MacBook Air which Apple is already working on.

Exterior design

Kuo has explained that said new range of MacBooks Air will adopt the exterior design of the next MacBooks Pro that will be launched this fall. They will also be manufactured in the same color range.

Mini-LED display

In the report, it points out that BOE will be the main supplier of panels Mini-LED, which it is already manufacturing en masse. Apple has begun to introduce these types of panels on the screen of the new 12,9-inch iPad Pro.

The next devices to mount this display technology will be the next 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro to be released shortly. Next, the MacBook Air will also be released with such a mini-LED screen.

Processor

Kuo's prediction is that the new range of MacBooks Air will be launched in mid-2022. As for the processor, it has not wanted to "wet" much. He says that obviously they will be Apple Silicon, but to this day he does not know if they will mount the same current M1 processor that we already know, or it will already be an evolution of it, a M2.

He believes that the new generation of MacBook Air will be widely accepted by users, with sales figures of about 8 million units for 2022.
