Listen to the radio from your Mac with Radium 3

One of the first searches I did when I got my first Mac was a program to listen to the radio. The web pages of the stations have players but with some problems to work correctly in Safari, and listening to a conventional radio station was sometimes very difficult. Until I came across Radium, an application that had everything I wanted right at that moment. And since then, in these 3 years I have used it almost daily to enjoy my favorite broadcasts. Now Radium 3 has just been released, a new version with more features and redesigned, and I have not hesitated a second to buy it.

The application installs and when you run it, a heart will appear in the OS X menu bar. Carrying out a search is as simple as writing the name of the station in the space provided for it., a list with the compatible results will appear, and to add the station to your favorites you just have to click on the heart on the right. The list of favorite stations appears by default when the search bar is blank. Press on the one you want to listen to and it will start playing.

Also now integrates the possibility of search the song that is playing on Google, or add it to your wish list to have it stored and to be able to search for it whenever you want. You can also share what you hear on Twitter or mark it as you like on Last.fm.

Simple but very complete adjustments, with the ability to stream audio to AppleTV or using AirParrot, and add stations manually using their URL. A very complete application with a normal price of € 17,99 (very high, really) but that until February 19 will be on a launch offer for 8,99 euros, an opportunity to buy it at half price. There are many other cheaper ones, as Radio Spain, but for me Radium 3 is the highest quality.
