Look Around on Apple Maps reaches some European cities

Apple Maps

Some users in Poland have reported that they have seen the Apple car that is dedicated to taking and taking photographs at street level with the aim of incorporating them into what is called look around. The Californian company has confirmed that they are indeed there and will be there until August 2021. So it seems that Poland will soon have the operational function.

According to the official website from Apple Maps Image Collection shows an Apple Maps image recording vehicle. Land catches for Look Around They will be held in Poland until August this year. The same website indicates that Apple Maps has begun surveying a group of European countries and cities, including Czechoslovakia, Germany, Slovenia, and Croatia. The feature debuted alongside the iOS 13 update in 2019 and we have already reported on its use but always in the US. It seems that it is the turn of the old continent.

It's unclear when the new street-level photography may go live for Polish Apple Maps customers. In May 2021, for example, Look Around launched in Atlanta, Georgia. The company is also collecting Look Around data in Hong Kong. Look Around is Apple's version of Google's Street View feature that allows you to scroll 360 degrees and move through the streets. If Maps has Look Around data for the location you are currently viewing, you simply need to tap the binocular icon on a map or info card to start an interactive 3D experience.

This site Apple maintains a list of cities and countries where Look Around is available. As you will see, Spain is listed in the Standard Maps column. We will have to continue waiting for the Apple car to pass through our country and capture the streets.
