MacOS 10.14.4 beta lets you enable autocomplete in Safari with Touch ID

Apple Pay on the web is also expanding as an online payment method, beyond mobile devices, and will soon be accepted by Comcast as well, so further growth is expected in the immediate future

The macOS 10.14.4 beta that Apple released this week has a new feature. Now we can activate the function autocomplete placing your finger on the sensor of the touch ID, present on Macs with this device.

So far, this feature is limited to just three features: unlock the Mac, pay with Apple Pay and give with feeling to purchases in iTunes Store and Mac Apple Store. In the new Apple beta this new option has been discovered that will allow you to complete sensitive information, consenting from the Touch ID of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air

MacOS Touch ID Preferences

In addition to fill in forms such as registering a service, with the name, address, email, etc. this function will allow us toaccess services such as emails, online stores or streaming platforms by simply placing your finger on the Touch ID. This option can be enabled or disabled from preferences, leaving the configuration to the taste of each user. Apple confirms in the T1 and T2 chips of the last Mac, because with this function we have access to the most sensitive information of the users. Let us remember that the T1 and T2 Chip act independently, controlling security parameters, among other things.

Touch ID preferences in macOS 10.14.4 beta

This is one of the news that we find in the beta of macOS 10.14.4, which is loaded with news. In addition, we have also known in the last hours, the new notices that Safari will bring, when we access a page not secure. In that case, the same address bar will inform us that the page we are accessing lacks any security measure. So far we have to look at the padlock or the address begins with "https"

Finally, this latest beta brings other improvements such as the service Apple News for Canada and introduces a theme of auto dark mode in Safarias long as we have the dark mode activated and the web has this option available.

    Hello

I would like to know if I update my Mac to version 10.14.3, will I be able to continue using my 32-bit apps or if they would stop working. I ask because CleanMyMac warns me that the current version of MacOS on my laptop is the latest version that will accept 32-bit apps.

    Thank you
