The new version of macOS 10.16 which should be shown at the next World Developer Conference 2020, better known as WWDC, could add new features regarding the Messages application. Yes, we say "should" because right now everything is hanging by a small thread due to the Covid-19 virus and it is unknown at this point if the event can be carried out or not.

In short, everything seems to indicate that the new version of the operating system of our Mac will add several what's new in the Messages app and is that the code in the beta versions shows some new functions that we will see in the next version of the system.

An option for delete those messages we have already sent you may also edit them, another that offers the possibility of add a status in our profile, the option of tag contacts in groups to send direct messages and the like. We already know all these improvements from the current versions of Telegram or WhatsApp, but that they reach Messages for sure that favor the use of this application that really is multiplatform and that will possibly increase its use if carried out.

It is not something that is officially confirmed And as we say, it will be time to wait for the presentation of the system to see these news, but having these options surely can give another life to the application that today is quite limited in this sense, as in the option to send GIF animated or similar as we can do in external messaging applications such as Telegram. And it is that Telegram today is our favorite app to send messages from any device or operating system since it is compatible with almost all and offers a lot of options for users.
