macOS 12.1 RC now available and ready to be released in its final version

We reached the end of the beta versions with this new RC (Release Candidate) version of macOS Monterey 12.1 released by Apple for developers a few hours ago. This new version of Apple's operating system offers important bug fixes and stability improvements to the new operating system for the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros.

In short, it is about improving the stability and functionality of the system to the maximum before being officially launched. In this case, the final version is expected to arrive even before the end of the year and various media indicate that It will be between December 20 or 27.

The new version released fixes an issue that could cause the desktop and screen saver to appear blank after selecting photos from the Photos library, fixes an issue that may cause external displays to not load on some MacBook Pro and MacBook Air when connected through the Thunderbolt or USB C port and fixes various errors on the 2021 MacBook Pro related to the playback of HDR content on YouTube that can cause the Mac to freeze, among other solutions.

The truth is that this new version is the precedent to the final version and we can say that nothing will change in it at the time of launching the version for all users. We can say that this version has been released literally to correct operational problems and that in addition, the SharePlay functionality is also maintained, announced by Apple at WWDC this past June. All of this will come soon, so everyone stays tuned until the day of its official launch, which may be next week or the next, always before the end of the year.
