macOS Mojave beta 8 released for developers and public beta users

Few hours ago, Apple released macOS Mojave beta 8 for developers and minutes later did the same with users of the public beta. Launching the beta almost in unison for both tester profiles indicates that macOS Mojave is very advanced and in a few weeks we will have the Golden Master version, that if it is not the final version, it is very similar.

We still don't have a date for the September keynote, where Apple will offer data from the output of the final version of macOS Mojave, but it is expected for the second half of September, as usual.

It is still early to know the news that this beta can bring. Up to now seen in previous versions of macOS Mojave, is the next:

  • The most representative, the dark mode of the entire system.
  • New dynamic background. Surely Apple or third parties will add more dynamic backgrounds. These funds will change, for example, with the course of the day.
  • La Stacks function, that allows us to group by types the files that we have distributed on the desktop.
  • New quick actions from the Finder.
  • More actions available in Quick Look.
  • New screenshot actions.
  • Camera Continuity, which allows us to insert into a document, the photograph we take at that moment with the iPhone.
  • New applications, inherited from iOS such as: News, Home.
  • Un completely redesign of the Mac App Store, with a style similar to the one we know from iOS.

All the modifications that Apple has made between beta and beta, are the following:

  • La Mac App Store Fits narrower screens.
  • Application Maps is available in dark mode.
  • Fix a bug in the brightness setting screen on 2018 MacBook Pros.
  • New dynamic background.
  • More wallpapers, in this case they are static.
  • Instead, a novelty that they presented to us in the presentation Keynote, such as the group FaceTime calls, it has been withdrawn and its inclusion in the first version of macOS Mojave is in doubt.

From Soy de Mac We will keep you informed of the news we find.
