Once again we bring you news from Macphun, a developer that is becoming a leader when it comes to photo retouching applications for Mac. It is about the Macphun company, a company that we have already told you about on more than one occasion and that in this case brings us the launch of Aurora HDR.
macphun has been associated in this case with the photographer Trey Ratcliff, specialist in HDR technique, to be able to shape and create a new application that will turn your photos into impressive ones. Together they have managed to shape the Aurora HDR application, an application that will make you look like an expert in HDR technique.

Aurora HDR comes to cover a need that users who are dedicated to the world of photography using a Mac have to create scenes in which there is a lot of variation between the light of one area of ​​the scene and another, which would cause or a very dark photo or a very light one.

With the HDR technique, a shot is made with different light conditions and later both photographs are managed to take the best of each one and get a perfect photograph in terms of lights. This look is done by the iPhone automatically but the result obtained will strictly depend on a software algorithm that manages it.

Aurora HDR works with photographs in .raw format so we will be able to make the modifications that we deem appropriate in terms of exposure to later create an HDR of them that is perfect. 

In short, it is a powerful but easy-to-use tool for creating high dynamic range images, having the certainty that we will have a very good result since the application has been Co-developed with Macphun by famous photographer Trey Ratcliff.

Aurora HDR will automatically combine multiple exposures of the same image for a shot with brilliant colors and great detail in shadow areas that would be lost in a normal photograph. Unlike the typical composition of HDR technique, Aurora HDR includes nearly 40 one-click controls that we can modify to change the appearance of the image including the possibility of using Pro controls developed by Ratcliff himself.

We will be able to use the Aurora HDR application as a stand-alone application or as a plug-in in other applications as it already happens with the other applications of the Macphun house integrated in the famous Macphun Creative Kit 2016 which we already talked about a few weeks ago.
