Regarding the interface I have to comment that I like it very much, and it reminded me a lot of the redesigns presented by Apple at WWDC, well the backgrounds are white and the letters black, with the titles in bold rather large. Of course, one point in their favor is that they did it before Apple introduced it, and perhaps the sizes of titles and headings are more logical and proportionate. In general, we are facing a very good and comfortable interface, which will make reading articles and browsing the application very comfortable.
The icon is white and green, so the links and user names appear in a very nice green tone and the rest in black and white. The photos look very good and in its web version it allows modifying them to establish them in full background, small, cropped, etc. The structure of Medium is similar to that of Twitter or Instagram. Below you have a doc with the start button and the Timeline, with the search engine, notifications and your profile. And of course there is a button to add an article that we can write and edit completely from mobile devices, both on your iPhone and your iPad.
On the home page, a bar appears at the top with options such as Articles from publishers, Top stories, Fandom, etc., depending on the topics that interest you and what you read the most. Regarding the profile of the users, comment that it is similar to Twitter. Your articles appear in descending order and under the profile name you have the biography and the number of people you follow and who follow you.

Writing a post or an article is very easy and you will not find limitations or censorship of any kind. You are free to publish what you want in the way you want, taking into account the legality and not offending anyone. At the time of writing, it offers you options to put titles and headings in a different way, upload images, put letters in bold or italics, etc. When you publish, you choose on which social network it will be shared and in which of your groups or magazines it will be published, since on Medium you can enter groups of editors and publish with them. I am with two groups.
The articles you like the most can be saved by putting a bookmark on them and those that you leave halfway through can be continued later thanks to the Draft option, which works quite well and being in your account you can continue writing it from any other device or computer.
