Microsoft Office releases an update for its Mac version of Office 2011 after the last update was in May. This time the released version of MIcrosoft Office is 14.3.5 and basically it is a security update to Unlike its previous update that made it compatible with Office 365.
Some Major security issues identified As can be read in the bulletin released by Microsoft itself, it explains that this update fixes a vulnerability that could allow remote code execution.

This vulnerability could allow remote code execution if a user opens a specially crafted Office document with an affected version of Microsoft Office software or previews or opens a specially crafted email message in Outlook with Microsoft Word such as e-mail reader. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could gain the same level of user rights as the current user. Users whose accounts are configured with fewer user rights on the system would be at less risk than those with administrative user rights.
