Ming-Chi Kuo talks about a 31,6-inch iMac (monitor) and a 16-inch MacBook Pro

MacBook Pro

The renowned analyst specializing in Apple Ming-Chi Kuo appears again in the media with one of those predictions that Mac lovers like so much and that is that according to his report Apple would be preparing a 31,6-inch monitor or iMac by the end of this year, a new MacBook Pro model or two for a couple of years and new iPads for 2020. Apparently the guys from Cupertino would be preparing a large iMac monitor or screen, specifically there is talk of this size of more than 31 inches but all this is rumors and we have to see how the issue progresses.

Kuo, is not one of the analysts who usually fails in his predictions although we have to bear in mind that he releases many throughout the year. In any case the news / rumor about the possibility of having new MacBooK Pro with larger screen size (not from the team as a whole) we think it's great and something that is evident seeing the evolution in the iPhone and iPad. If you also add this huge screen in the iMac, the size of the current model of 27 may also stay the same but grow on the screen, we'll see.

MacBook Pro Touch Bar

IPad also appears in predictions

And it is that this rumor does not remain in two products. Again the possibility of seeing a new iPad appears in the news released by the analyst although it is true that this is long term since talks about a new iPad model for 2020.

On the possible or possible new MacBook Pro, a change in the design of the screen with the thinner frames and maybe the integrated Face ID could be expected, this would be a good update apart from improving the processors and some internal components of the equipment. Logically, a larger screen size does not mean a larger overall size of the equipment, so we hope that the current 15 ″ model does not grow in dimensions and does grow on the screen. We will see if it is finally two models or one since the difference of 0,5 inches does not seem to be significant to launch two models, it would be a 16 or in any case 16,5 inches. We will see what happens at the end of the year with this supposed iMac or large monitor.
