We continue talking about applications in Soy de Mac in the absence of news related to the world of Apple. Today we talk about the Image Mix application, an application that allows us to add the dissolve effect to our images to combine them and obtain spectacular and fun results.
Image Mix automatically generates a layer with the second image and applies a soft transparent effect creating an artistic effect obtaining a fantastic composition. Applying the dissolve effect with Image Mix is a very simple process that does not require any knowledge of photographic editing.
When setting the effect in the composition, we can set the level of transparency of images through the selector that the application offers us. The user interface is very simple and to move the images that are part of the image combination we just have to move the image until it is in the proper position.
Once we have created the composition we wanted, from the application itself we can save the photo for later sharing with the applications that we use regularly, such as email, Messages, Telegram or send it by AirDrop to our device to share it directly from the terminal.
How Image Mix works
- First we have to select to drag the two images with which we want to create the combination.
- Second, we need to apply the effect and adjust the level of transparency.
- Finally we move the two images so that we can make the combination we are looking for with the dissolve effect.
- Finally we click on Save to store the resulting file on our hard drive and do what we want with it.
Image Mix has a price in the Mac App Store of 8,99 euros, it is compatible with 64-bit processors and requires OS X 10.10 or higher.
