Through various means we were informed of the Apple's interest in opening new offices in the UK capital. More specifically the London environment Evening Standard ha posted on your website, that the company is interested in establishing itself on the banks of the Thames, in the old Battersea power station.

With this action, the company clears any doubts regarding the investment that the company would make in Europe, after the interventions of various states regarding the way the company is taxed in the old continent. Therefore, London continues to be a headquarters for Apple to develop in Europe or of course, present a keynote.

The building is currently undergoing a meticulous restoration process after a period of neglect that exceeds 30 years. London institutions hope to rejuvenate the neighborhood with this investment.

It is one of the most iconic buildings in London, where many companies have shown their interest, but Apple has managed to make it their own. Even so, due to its dimensions, they will not occupy more than 47.000 square meters. Currently the Cork headquarters has 4.000 employees and the vast majority will relocate to the new premises.

Apple will occupy the top six floors around a large central atrium. There will also be three storeys of shops, 253 apartments around a "square with a garden in the sky", a 2.000-seat auditorium and cinemas. At the same time, a metro station is being designed to facilitate access to the site. We hope of course, a spectacular Apple Store, with such a structure.

Apparently the opening of the building is scheduled for 2021. On the part of the English government, the company's leadership is thanked for its commitment to the United Kingdom, especially after the turbulence that arose after the Brexit last spring.
