Apple has worked in collaboration with Foster + Partners to build the new Apple Park, which occupies 175 hectares and will be powered 100 percent by renewable energy.

The main building, known unofficially as the "spaceship" building, includes 17 megawatts of rooftop solar power; this means that Apple Park will feature one of the largest solar energy facilities on the planet when it officially opens in April.
