Another month, another video on the progress of the new facilities that Apple will occupy from next year and that for now have been baptized as Campus 2, without official confirmation. Today we show you the latest drone view video where we can see the progress of the works during the month of August. The first thing that stands out about this new video is that most of the solar panels located in the main campus building are already installed. If we take a look at the exterior of the building we can see how the glass facade is also almost completely finished both inside and outside.
The nearby auxiliary buildings to the main construction that makes up the spacecraft, another of the names that the complete one has received, The works are also nearing completion, at least the exterior. The two garages with spaces for 8000 vehicles and the auditorium, next to the R&D center, continue to evolve slowly but surely, as we have seen in this new video.
As the exterior works are being completed, the landscaping work has begun. In the center of the campus we can see a large pond that has begun to take shape, with large rocks and many details that can give us a rough impression of how it will finally look. Apple's plans are to plant more than 7.000 trees of 300 different species, so that walking through the center of the facilities is like doing it through a forest and not through a dryland as it would be without any type of vegetation.
The intent of Apple and the contractor doing the work is to finish before the end of this year so that at the beginning of next year the boys of Cupertino move to these new facilities.
