The new Google Chrome 55 now available for Mac

Actually I can say that I give little or no use to Google Chrome on my Mac, but this is a personal issue for each user and obviously I know many who do use it on the Mac and are really satisfied with it. Now Google releases new Google Chrome 55 for Mac, Windows and Linux users the main difference being that in this version of the Flash browser it is completely disabled.

If we want we can activate it from the browser settings, but this is something that I personally no longer recommend to anyone except all those users who need to have Flash for work or similar issues, in all other cases it is best to leave it deactivated to avoid problems.

The good thing about having Flash deactivated by default is that also if we access a web that is with Flash the new browser will ask us if we want to activate it to access the content or not, then it is a matter of each user to do it or not. I can personally say that I haven't used Flash on my Mac for a long time and I don't miss it as it is not required for most of the websites I access and I don't need it for work either, so one less problem.

Chrome 55 uses HTML5 for the pages we browse and therefore for those users who are used to using Chrome or want to change it for the native macOS browser, Safari, this is a great option. If you then want to manually activate Flash in it, what we will have to do is access the browser Preferences> Privacy> Content settings and activate Flash. But it's not necessary, really ...
