New patent could help Siri mimic the tone of our own voice

Siri Patent

In a new patent filed by Apple, indications are shown that seem to indicate a system of modulation of the voice, by which Siri could adapt her "voice" to match the tone of it to the one used by the user. In this way, if we are in a quiet place, Siri would not be heard in the normal tone, but would adapt its volume according to external conditions.

As we know, Apple tirelessly seeks a way for users to use the full potential offered by the brand's devices. This new invention would allow to take advantage of the characteristics in many more conditions that offers us having a virtual assistant at hand to know the weather, or even call someone or send money to a specific contact.

This patent, currently already registered, has no specific implementation date, but the most optimistic expect this new feature in Siri for this year 2018on both iOS devices and all 64-bit Mac computers.

According to the environmental noise that we have in according to what situations, Siri would modulate her pitch, adapting to the situation. Apple seeks with this that users use Siri more than we currently use it.

On numerous occasions, we find ourselves unable to use Siri to avoid attracting attention or annoying, but with this new patent it is sought that the "conversation" we have with our virtual assistant be as intimate as possible.

According to some experts, Siri would be preparing to even answer in whispers, and understand each other in the same tone, something that for the moment is unthinkable, since the assistant needs a certain volume to understand us.
