New RAW Compatibility Update for Digital Cameras 6.04

raw mac

Apple releases a new RAW compatibility update for digital cameras with numerous models added in this version 6.04. Is about continue adding digital camera models compatible with RAW format in OS X Yosemite.

In this new update and how curiosity / novelty, Apple obviously does not say anything about compatibility with iPhoto and Aperture since we have available the new Photos application since the arrival of OS X Yosemite 10.10.3, but neither does it refer to said application in its notes although the compatibility is evident.

Digital cameras that are added to the compatible list are:

  • Canon EOS 5DS
  • Canon EOS 5DS
  • Canon EOS Rebel T & i / 750D / Kiss X8i
  • Canon EOS Rebel T6s / 760D / Kiss 8000D
  • Fujifilm X-A2
  • Hasselblad CFV-50c
  • Hasselblad H5D-50c
  • Leica C (Type 112)
  • Nikon 1S2
  • Nikon D7200
  • Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II
  • Panasonic LUMIX CM1
  • Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GF7
  • Pentax MX-1

If you did not automatically launch this update on your Mac, don't worry because it will end up arriving on your Mac. If you are not sure if you updated to this version 6.04 remember that you can access the new version directly from the menu of the > App store or accessing directly from the application Mac App Store> Updates. Surely the guys from Cupertino keep adding models of digital cameras to increase support in professional RAW format.
