Apple announced at today's event, dubbed #helloagain, a new application called TV, along with the new new MacBook Pro, which stand out for a new functionality including now a Touch Bar. The application seeks to become a unified TV experienceAs it works on all Apple devices, not only on Apple TV, but also on iPad and iPhone.
The event took place before just over 300 people at Apple headquarters in Cupertino. According to Tim Cook, CEO of Apple who as usual made the "keynote" official, this new advance "It's going to change the way we watch TV."
This novel application has been presented together with the new MacBook Pro, 13 ″ and 15 ″, with the main novelty of a Touch Bar at the top of the keyboard, which is completely customizable depending on the program that we are using on our Mac.
The application has category tabs throughout its main screen. In it, we can choose the movie, series, or event that we want to see, as well as organize different episodes to see next. Of course, you will have to have a subscription for those contents that we want to visualize and are not included in the basic visualization that Apple offers.
In addition, we can use Siri through this application to allow us to see exactly what we want. It really has a lot of potential. Searching through Siri can be really useful to see our favorite content.
The downside is that for the moment it will only be available in the United States, so from the other side of the world we must wait for the range of action of this new application to open.
The application will come as a free software update for all compatible devices before the end of the year. In the sample video, the app looks great on iOS devices.
