Now available a new version of iMovie, 10.1.6

We certainly have to mention the new version released today by Apple of the video editing application, iMovie. This time it does not seem that we have big changes in terms of functionality, options or similar, but a couple of interesting improvements are added to the application. It is about continuing to improve this simple video editing tool that Apple offers us and in this case there is bug fixes and stability improvements specific in libraries created with earlier versions of iMovie.

In addition to the correction in the libraries, we found a solution to the problem that could reduce the volume of the clips after the transitions and this seems to be that it was quite annoying for the users, so the reports to Apple have worked and in this new version of iMovie 10.1.6 is solved. In principle there are no other improvements in the application and there are no news in terms of functionality or editing tools.

As always, if you are an iMovie user, we recommend updating the application as soon as possible, in this way you will avoid problems even if you had not noticed them. This application and the rest of iWork have been completely free for everyone for a month, and iWork, iMovie and GarageBand were free for all those users who bought a new Mac from mid-2013 onwards, but the other users who had Older Macs didn't have the offer. Apple added all Macs to the list so that the download of iMovie, Pages, Numbers, etc. was free for everyone.
