Alongside the premiere of the Mosquito Coast series, Apple publishes a behind-the-scenes special

Today, April 30, as Apple announced a month ago, Apple's streaming video service has released the series The Mosquito Coasta 7 episode miniseries It was inspired by the novel that gave rise to the film starring Harrison Ford, who turned 35 this year.

Along with the premiere of the first episode, Apple has posted on its YouTube channel a video where it shows us moments of the recording, as well as interviews with the protagonists of the series and the author of the book on which the film was based, Paul Theroux.

In the description of this video, we can read:

From award-winning novelist Neil Cross, and based on Paul Theroux's best-seller celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, "The Mosquito Coast" is a gripping adventure and layered character drama that follows the perilous journey from a radical idealist and brilliant inventor, Allie Fox (played by Justin Theroux), who uproots her family for Mexico when they suddenly find themselves on the run from the US government.

The seven-episode series has been produced by Neil Cross with Rupert Wyatt, (who also directs the first two episodes), the author Paul Theroux Justin Theroux and Edward L. McDonnell, Alan Gasmer, Peter Jaysen, and Bob Bookman. The television adaptation of this novel has been carried out by the producer Fremantle.
