As you probably already know, some time ago Apple launched the MacBook Pro 2018, brilliant equipment in all aspects. However, there were those who complained about the graphics at the time, because for some specific cases they were insufficient, and from Apple they did not know many possibilities of expansion for this aspect.
That is why, in the last Keynote on October 30, in addition to the presentation of multiple products, we also saw the announcement that in the MacBook Pros with 15 inches, the graphics could soon be customized to obtain more power, and this is something that can already be done if you wish.
The 2018 ”MacBook Pro 15 is now available with AMD Radeon Pro Vega graphics in the Apple online store
As we have been able to know, recently from Apple they have launched two new possible combinations when choosing between the MacBook Pro 2018 from their official website, although for the moment only apply to the best configuration model with 15 ”screen.
And, until now, when configuring the best MacBook Pro that Apple offers, which by default includes an Intel Core i7 at 2,6 GHz, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of internal storage, you could only choose the version with an AMD Radeon Pro 560X graphics with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory. Nevertheless, now you can choose the AMD Radeon Pro Vega, with an increase in price which varies depending on which one you choose:
- AMD Radeon Pro Vega 16 with 4GB HBM2 memory: 300 euros
- AMD Radeon Pro Vega 20 with 4GB HBM2 memory: 420 euros
These prices would be added to the basic version, which currently costs 3.299 euros, along with other possible modifications. For the moment, only you can buy it with these configurations from Apple's official website, although it is expected that versions with these graphics will begin to arrive very soon in official stores and authorized distributors.
