Nuance announces Dragon Dictate 4 for Mac

Next March 18 is the date chosen by the Nuance company to launch its next version of its famous speech recognition software, Dragon Dictate. As would be expected, this new version brings improvements in speech recognition even with the ability to be able to transcribe a pre-recorded voice file without the need to dictate it live, something that will exponentially increase the productivity of the program since the same application will be able to transcribe meetings at work or university classes that we have recorded for example.

According to the Nuance press release, they say they have substantially improved the application, since if we speak in a normal tone or even almost whispering, it can achieve almost 100% accuracy when transcribing the audio into text. It should be noted that Mavericks uses the same recognition engine natively, but the Nuance program improves interface and capabilities in relation to transcription.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRfbZ0h4yBoLa aplicación has gone native 64 bit now, which translates into better performance and memory management compared to its predecessors, this means that the latency between the moment we are dictating and the time it takes the program to convert said information into text has been reduced.

There is also an integration with Gmail in the form of a plugin for Safari and Firefox, that is, you can navigate between the different folders and hierarchies of our mailboxes without the need to use any type of peripheral with voice commands to edit, delete or modify e-mails without problem.

For now, Dragon Dictate 4 has only been advertised for the American Nuance store, with a price of $ 199.99 in digital version, which is available now. The retail or boxed version will be released on March 18.
