Office online is born, a service that replaces Office.com and can be used with all Apple computers and iDevices

ONLINE OFFICE

This week, Microsoft has moved tab in terms of network services and what was previously Office.com, has become Office online and most importantly, free for all users who have a Microsoft account.

The Microsoft office suite is now available online, being able to use it on any computer or Apple iDevice device. We have taken a step forward in terms of being able to use the Office suite on iDevices and through the network.

Since Microsoft has taken this strategic step, catching up with what Apple is doing with iWork for iCloud, any user who wants to enjoy Office online either on a Mac computer or on an iPad or iPhone, just enter the page Office.com to be able to use the applications immediately Word Online, PowerPoint Online, Excel Online, and OneNote Online.

In order to access the service, you must have a Microsoft email account.

Within this new platform the user can create and save documents, presentations and spreadsheets in the OneDrive service in addition to being able to do the same thing that Apple has also implemented, which is to share those documents with other users and edit them at the same time.

The new version of the service has improved the appearance of the documents that can be created as new tools and templates have been included.

Now you just have to enter this service with your Apple device and verify if you can work comfortably as if you had the applications installed on it. We all know that for iDevices there is still no Office suite application so if you have an iPad 4G you can open and work with your OneDrive documents without having to go to a computer.

This is good news for two reasons. There is no longer a need to install the office suite for three documents that one does a month. Likewise, being able to have these tools regardless of the place and platform in which we work.
The only but I see is that we can't apparently save the document with doc extension.
