OffMap allows you to view your maps without an internet connection

The Internet today is such a versatile tool that practically no one doubts its capacity as mass media, digital entertainment or simply for work reasons to be constantly connected with your company. However, we cannot always have it and on many occasions we can only have the content stored locally on our device as a source.

It is for this very reason that there are programs to make us this process of be disconnected more bearable if we really need to always be connected. Programs such as Pocket which is neither more nor less than an application to consume informative and multimedia content offline whenever we want.

In the case at hand, OffMap will use the Google Maps database As a reference, which gives greater security in their precision, it will also mean that if we go on a trip and find ourselves in unknown places we can have a map of the area at hand in case there is no internet connection or that this is not very good. It will allow us to zoom in on roads, streets and in general all the places of interest that will be marked without problems, but on the contrary we will not have available, of course, Street View services to see 360º photos of the street or the site where we are in particular since otherwise it would exponentially increase the size of the saved file.

It is also possible to save the maps in three different ways, so we can set the view as Map, Satellite or Hybrid and save the map in each of those three ways. The format in which the map will be saved will be .Tiff and it will open with a preview since it is simply one more image, basically it is something that we could do by opening Google Maps and capturing the part of the map that interests us as a capture screen, however I think it is easier to have a program with everything integrated since it makes the process easier, being also free and practically without taking up disk space.
