One of the best applications that we can currently find on the market to manage email is Outlook, especially when you live within the application and that your work depends largely on it, due to the large number of options available to us. In addition, thanks to the Office integration, it is one of the most used tools in the business environment.
As Microsoft had announced, the new version of Outlook for macOS is now available, a version that fits perfectly with the new design of macOS Big Sur, so it gives the impression at first glance of being a native application of the system.
This new design, which is accompanied by new features, speed improvements, new user interface, a customizable interface giving the application the necessary power on a day-to-day basis and a simplicity that allows it to reach a greater number of potential users.
Within the configuration options, this new Outlook allows us create custom message lists, in the calendar and the main mail. The drag and drop function, very typical of Apple, allows us to customize the operation of the application as well as its appearance in just a few seconds.
The sidebar and panels of the day are also susceptible to modification to adapt to our preferences to avoid distractions and be more productive as it allows us to join a conversation or confirm an attendance with just one click.
The only negative point that this update offers us is that moment no support for IMAP and iCloud accounts, so we will have to wait for future updates of the application to configure them, a support that should not take long to arrive although Microsoft has not confirmed the approximate date.
