Parallels 16 in beta version for Apple Silicon M1

Users of this popular virtualization software Parallels now supports Macs with M1 Apple Silicon processors in a first beta version launched and that is accessed exclusively through an invitation from the developer.

It seems that this software is close to being officially launched and that is after its official presentation in the last WWWDC of this year 2020. At first it seems that this It is one of the first beta versions that appear for some guests.

The beta version of this software published that shows us the web AppleInsider it is exclusive for Macs that have the ARM-based M1 processor, so it is not valid for other computers that have Intel processors. The only way to run Windows in Technical Preview is to sign up for Microsoft's Insider program and download the Windows 10 Client ARM64 Insider Preview VHDX file. The new Parallels software will recognize the file and will automatically create the version of Windows 10 valid for the Mac with an M1 processor.

Of course there are many users who are not too happy with this virtualization solution for Windows operating systems on Macs, but in this sense there is no other option available to date. In the presentation of Apple's M1, the company said it was working to facilitate the task of adopting Parallels in these teams and now what we can say is the first exclusive beta version for a select few. At first if development is just as fast and efficient, an open beta may be released soon for more users, for now it's time to wait.
