That the Mac is the computer par excellence to create audiovisual content there is no doubt, and Apple is now taking a step forward with less professional and advanced users with a great application: Podcast Publisher.
With an iMovie-inspired design we have a super simple but effective Podcast publisher, which allows us to edit it easily and then export it to different services or applications such as iTunes.
This application has hardly been talked about, it is difficult to find it within Lion and for 99% of users it will not be useful, but there is 1% who will appreciate it a lot.
Interesting that the average user can already make simple podcasts simply and quickly, before that luxury could only be done with a mac os server (or with third-party tools), although personally I do not use it, it seems like a good bet for Apple to include it
