The production of the GPU that the iMac Pro is expected to carry is increased

Several months have passed since the last WWDC keynote was held. Specifically, since June we are waiting for features or some news about what the iMac Pro will be able to provide us. We only know from the company that we would know the team before the end of the year. All this until today, as various media indicate several Apple suppliers would be increasing the production of the GPU of the iMac Pro, the AMD Radeon Pro Vega. Although it is only a guess, predictably the most prepared iMac, will have the AMD Radeon Pro Vega, in the 56 and 64 version.

The difference between one and the other lies in the dedicated video memory. While the 56 version would have 8 Gb, the 64 model would have 16 Gb of dedicated video. Apparently, the Siliconware Precision Industries company would be one of the companies that is dedicating the most effort to the manufacture of the cards.

Unfortunately, we can't be more precise, despite seeing Apple's order increases. The company does not commit to a date other than December. If we look at the delivery of the 2016 MacBook Pro, the delivery dates were close to December, the month in which Apple expects more sales impact, due to the proximity of Christmas.

iMac Pro Top

Apple bets on the iMac Pro, after publicly acknowledging that it had something neglected for the public with very demanding requirements, mainly video and photography editors. And in principle, the new Apple machine should not leave you indifferent. To date we can forecast: Intel Xeon CPU, with up to 18 cores, configurations up to 128 Gb of RAM ECC. Of course, it is not for all budgets, since its price in the US is located according to analysts, in $ 5000.

Otherwise, the structure of the equipment is similar to the current iMac, with the 5k display. It only differs in exterior color, predominantly aluminum gray, something never seen in iMac.
