QacQoc GN30H, an adapter for everything you need

There's no denying that Apple's decision to remove conventional ports from its MacBook and MacBook Pros has been controversial. The decision to only use USB-C as a port for your laptops, and the riskiest one to only fit a single USB-C on your MacBook it can be inconvenient for some users and makes it almost mandatory to purchase an adapter to cover all the possible connections that we will ever need.

There are many chargers on the market, but since we are going to have to buy one, it is always better to be as complete as possible and thus be the only accessory we need on our MacBook or MacBook Pro.  Multiple USB, one HDMI, USB-C for laptop charging, card reader and even Ethernet connection in case it were necessary ... all that is what the QacQoc GN30H offers us that we have tested and we tell you our impressions.

Its design is very compact and lightweight, with an aluminum body (available in the same colors as MacBooks) and some white plastic elements. On one of the sides we find the three USB 3.0 and the HDMI connector that supports up to 4K resolution to watch movies or our Mac desktop on the living room TV in great detail.

On the opposite side the slots for the SD and microSD cards, and on the front a Gigabit Ethernet connector in case someone continues to use the cable to connect to the internet, and a USB-C connector that allows us to charge our MacBook while we use the rest of the ports. That USB-C is not used to connect external drives, it is only for power transfer.

Thanks to the connection by means of a cable to the USB-C of our Mac we will not have problems of disconnections of the devices connected to it. After using two similar devices that are attached to the side of the laptop and having those problems When moving the computer, I decided this time for a wired one like this qacQoc GN30H.

At the moment everything works as it should and I have not had any problems with any of the accessories that I have connected. By the way, do not leave the small transport bag that it brings inside the box because it is very useful, and quite a surprise to find it because in the product specifications it did not appear.

Editor's opinion

Although I have only needed it in specific moments, having an adapter with the new MacBook and MacBook Pro is almost mandatory until USB-C is standardized. At this point, the QacQoc GN30H is one of the most complete that we can find on the market at a fairly reasonable price taking into account the number of connectors it includes, and whose price would be much higher separately. Everything works as it should, it is very light and the ports are located in such a way that one accessory will not prevent you from connecting another, so it is a highly recommended purchase for anyone looking for one of these adapters. You have it available in Egolggo HUB USB C ...Amazon »/] for € 82,99.
