QacQoc USB-C, interesting Hub for our MacBook Pro

The new MacBook Pro have USB Type-C ports and this is undoubtedly a great advantage for the advancement of this port, but there are many users who are still somewhat reluctant to change due to the lack of older ports or simply a slot for SD cards.

In this case, we all already know the number of hubs that have reached the market to make up for the absence of these ports and today the one we have is the QacQoc Multiport Hub, a small, well-designed and robust hub for those who need more ports besides USB type C.

QacQoc design

Without a doubt we have several designs and with different ports among the hubs that we find for sale in stores, but this hub is really slim and minimalist. What we achieve with this design is that it is not heavy at all and we can take it anywhere to use when we need it, it also adds a leather cover so that it does not scratch or break. In this case it is a hub available in two colors, el space gray and silver according to the MacBook Pro models that we have on the Apple website.

Available ports

For the QacQoc GN28A hub, which is the model we have, we find: 1 USB-C charging port, 1 USB-C 3.1 10Gbps data transfer and charging port, 1 SD card reader, 1 microSD card reader and 2 USB 3.0 type A ports. From what we read in the specifications of the device, we find a hub that allows connection to a 5K monitor or two 4K monitors up to 60Hz via DisplayPort Thunderbolt 3.

Conclusions

Too bad not being able to test transfer to 4K or 5K monitors since we do not have any to test, but in general it is one of the hubs that have a really interesting value for money and provide those ports that many users need for day to day.

If you are thinking about buying a new MacBook Pro and you are not sure about it due to the absence of standard USB ports or card reader, do not worry and jump in, since the range of hubs available today is very wide and This QacQoc model is one of the functional, practical and not too expensive. Also in this case we have for all readers of soy de Mac a 15% discount if we use the code below: WYIFS4AU remaining at 59,49 euros. You can access the Hub QacQoc directly from this link on the Amazon website in which you will find this QacQoc hub for 69,99 euros.

How about your operating temperature? I have read on amazon about other brands and they have the problem that they get very hot, some even cause interference with the wifi. Others that stop working after a few minutes or that spoil the SD / USB memories. In general I have read more bad user experiences than good ones.
